Feng Shui Marriage Dates – Feng Shui For Marriage and Love
April 30, 2012 by Joesph Bellavia
The Chinese have long used the art of feng shui as symbols to draw luck on relationships. As Chinese tradition says, using symbols in feng shui for marriage and love not only enhances the relationship between the husband and wife, but also protects it from wicked influences.
There are several symbols used in the art of feng shui. For marriage, the use of amulets, pictures, or figurines with the symbol of a dragon – representing the husband – and phoenix – representing the wife – is said to bring luck into marriage. These symbols are usually placed in the Southwest portion of the couple’s room.
A pair of mandarin which is a rather popular romantic symbol and is said to bring happiness to the couple.
However, putting more than a pair of mandarin ducks symbolizes infidelity and should therefore be avoided. Feng Shui Marriage Dates
The use of a crystal figurine of a pink lotus is also said to enhance the relationship between the married couple. Placing the crystal lotus flower in the Southwest part of couple’s room will help to ensure an obstacle-free and happy marriage.
Feng shui for love and marriage also considers the proper placement of furniture in the couple’s room. Mirrors must avoid being placed by the side of the bed, or at the foot of the bed, since it is an indicator that problems may arise between the couple.
The southwest direction of the house is the most appropriate direction of happiness in marriage.
If you’re looking for a potential life mate or to even be in a happy and fulfilling relationship, you have to reinforce the earth element in the southwest part of your room and your home. Placing lots of crystals in this area, and keeping it brightly lit helps to attract the positive energy for love.
Believing in the art of feng shui for marriage and love may indeed attract a positive energy between the couple or even the person looking for love and lifetime commitment. However, let’s always bear in mind that good communication, respect, fidelity and most of all unconditional love, play the most important factor in making any relationship work. Why do women say they will do something and then don’t? If you say you’re going to call me — do it! If you can’t, call as soon as you can and simply explain. When you don’t call, I chalk you up as an inconsiderate loser wasting my time with stupid head games.
To all the elitist queens who parade around with ego and pretension: Your number is coming up.
Crotch trimming = effeminate? I trim because it’s comfortable.
Just because I’m living with a successful wealthy older woman doesn’t mean I’m a gold-digger! So, next time you see us at the grocery store, don’t ask if she’s buying me organic baby formula!
Reality Check! How can you sit in the chatroom telling me how I am wasting my life in a bar? At least I actually get out of my house and risk rejection in the real world. Unplug your computer and hold a real conversation, face to face, some day.
Shame on your mothers for not teaching you not to judge a book by its cover and to treat others as you like to be treated. Stop playing your online games.
Yes I have heard the word “professional.” Prostitutes are professionals, too, so it’s not about education or skills, it’s about how much you are compensated when you get fucked!
Restroom tip ..29: Ladies, before returning to the bar area, make sure your lipstick isn’t smudged and your hair is on right.
How come when a woman is interested in me, she gives me her phone number? This is stupid. If she wants to ask me out or have sex, she needs to ask for my number and then give me a call. I’m not going to do her pursuing for her.
Does your grandmother know you borrowed her arms? Get off the nelly crosstrainer already and pick up a barbell sometime, if you can.
I love seeing immaculate hiking boots on people. They’d have more character — and so would you — if they were actually used on a mountain trail now and then.
People who use looks to judge their superiority often end up paying for a lot of plastic surgery to keep their illusion of superiority.
Reality check of the day: There are older women who are assholes and there are younger women who are assholes. Stop limiting yourself to appearances and types. You are the only one who loses.
I’m tall, good-looking, athletic, and doing well. I’m also 24, white, and in certain neighborhoods those things are the kiss of death.
I just wasted seven months of my life dating a 45-year-old woman I met online. She lied about her age, her life, history, finances and more. It would be so much easier if people could just be honest with each other.
My ex-friend had no confidence when we met. Over the years, I managed to convince her of her worth as a person. Now she doesn’t have the time for a quick call just to see how I’m doing. I would never treat anyone the way I’ve been treated.

Portrait of a woman
Roman, Imperial Period, about A.D. 120
Height x length (of face): 31 x 17.7 cm (12 3/16 x 6 15/16 in.)
Marble, dolomitic marble from the Greek island of Thasos
Classification: Sculpture
The woman has full, round, and rather fine features. The hairstyle and carving of the eyebrows suggest a date for the head in the reign of the Emperor Domitian (A.D. 81-96), but the sharply delineated mouth and eyelids suggest that this is most likely a work executed under the reign of the Emperor Hadrian (A.D. 117-138).
Her hair is carried high above the forehead in irregular, wavy strands deeply worked with the drill. It is gathered into a large knot behind, below the crown. A small lock falls on either side of the neck. The Irises and pupils are not rendered in sculpture, although incised lines indicate the hair of the eyebrows.
The head has been broken off at the base of the neck. The upper part of the hair over the forehead was made separately and is missing. The tip of the nose has been restored in plaster.
Scientific Analysis:
Marble has been scientifically tested with X-Ray Diffraction and determined to be Dolomitic.
Harvard Lab No. HI359: Isotope ratios – delta13C +3.52 / delta18O -3.59, Attribution – Thasos-Cape Vathy, Justification – Dolomitic by XRD.

The Power of Retreat
There is a new feminine consciousness arising today, a force many are calling the Divine Feminine. Women are being drawn together to take time out to connect and nourish this feminine consciousness in themselves.
As facilitators, we also know that many women are experiencing transitions and changes in their lives and seeking more for themselves. We believe it's easier to pursue dreams, heal ourselves or create change when our energy is high and joyful.
Retreat is a powerful way to replenish your mind, body and spirit so that you can build the energy and connect to the inner guidance needed to manifest your desires and dreams. Many women make profound changes in their lives quickly and easily after our retreats.
We will work gently using with a rich mix of Eastern and Western holistic healing and transformative approaches, nourishing the feminine soul within us and cultivating abundance, creativity and inspiration.
Join us on this regenerative journey.
Retreat Reflections
Here are a few questions we hope to explore during our retreat:
- How do you create a balance between giving and receiving in your life?
- What are essential keys and sacred practices in living a soulful life?
- How do you access inner guidance for manifesting your dreams and visions?
- How do you transform your wounds into healing and wisdom?
- How do you draw upon the transformative powers of the Divine Feminine?
- How do you use the creative principles of Manifestation?

Testimonials
Here's a sample of what women say after attending our retreat:
"The most beautiful, freeing setting in which to take in the generous guidance of Shushann and Gemma, our teachers. A gentle, circling journey of self-discovery that was both unexpected and immense. Sincere thanks." Samantha
"This retreat was like a car going through a car wash but on a soul level. I went in feeling messy and come out feeling cleansed and sparkly!" Nik.D
"What a week of openness, courage and support. It's a real soul soother." Liz
"Gemma and Shushann are a unique combination of facilitators. They are caring, fun and lively and full of innovative ideas to help the soulful woman regenerate. Undoubtedly their retreats are going to become a haven for many women to experience, a transformational experience that is not to be missed." S
"If you want to come home to yourself, experience deep self-care and nurturing, bliss, joy and a sense of balance, attend the Soulful Woman Retreat in Bali. A truly transformational, gentle, caring experience run by powerful feminine souls, Gemma and Shushann. A deeply soulful experience. Thank you." Karin Berky
"I loved our three group outings; the visit to the Water Temple, our lunch in the rice paddies, and the beautiful dinner. I also felt well-supported within the group and there was a complete lack of bitchiness, which is often common in a group of women. Gemma and Shushann tended tenderly to our every need." J
"The retreat provided opportunities to explore our inner being, blockages and strengths, and our relationship with our self, others and the divine. I had great insights and am now able to move towards a more balanced lifestyle, integrating my spiritual self in the work I do with others, while caring for myself in the process." Suparna
"The Essence of the Lakshmi Retreat was an amazingly loving, supportive and soulful space where I truly felt I could reconnect with my self, my spirit and my inner guidance. I go home with a renewed sense of self and love, a renewed energy and love of life." Kristen
"I found my mojo again! Or to put it more accurately, this retreat enabled me to look within and see that I never really lost in the first place. Gemma and Shushann, thank you so much for creating a circle, a sisterhood, which has been so nourishing for the mind, body and soul. Our circle has been such a healing space for me this week and it was everything (and then some) that I needed." Jennie Blake
"It's now a week since I arrived home from the Essence of Lakshmi Retreat. I've been expecting the well-being and contentment to be waning by now but I'm waking each morning with a sense of heightened expectation and anticipation of the day.The company of interesting women, who were also "interested" in each other's life story and current situation, including all the highs and lows, was most liberating. The respect and empathy afforded by the group was a healing experience. The daily yoga and meditation sessions were grounding and totally undemanding. Shushann and Gemma were delightful and experienced facilitators. The accommodation, the food, the pool, the laughter and the sharing made it a week I won't forget and a definite "must" for next year." Susanne
"Prior to attending the retreat I was tired and emotionally drained and felt I was lacking direction in life. The retreat helped me to enjoy my own company again and also provided me with the space to nourish my spirit. Meeting new friends was a bonus. Thank you Gemma and Shushann. It was a life-changing experience which has given me the tools to live a more authentic life. I am already looking forward to the next retreat." Tara
"The Essence of Lakshmi retreat was a wonderful opportunity to immerse myself in exquisite feminine energy. To honour and reverence my being completely, body, mind and spirit in a culture that embodies this value at the core of its being." Julie
"Shushann and Gemma's loving care is really unique. It's like a balanced and clear sacred Mother's energy, nourishing the heart, and giving the same special attention to each of us. I will never forget your warm support, encouragement, and respect for my needs. For me, your attitude really set the tone for the whole retreat." Nicole.
